Gemma joined Thatcher + Hallam in October 2019, having previously worked at a leading Bath law practice. Gemma is a key member of our Wills Probate + Tax Planning Department.
Gemma specialises in estate administration and plays a key role within the firm’s Trust Registration Team (TRS), assisting clients with the registration of trusts in line with HMRC TRS regulations and related compliance requirements.
In addition to assisting with the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), once the LPA is in place, she helps both clients and their appointed Attorneys manage the day-to-day responsibilities relating to property and financial affairs. This is tailored to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each individual and their Attorney/s, ensuring a truly bespoke service.
Gemma takes pride in her interpersonal skills and her natural ability to put clients at ease through her friendly and approachable manner.
In 2008, Gemma completed the CLT Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Wills, Probate, and Estate Administration, and was subsequently awarded Fellowship status by the Institute of Paralegals (IOP). Following the IOP’s integration with CILEX, Gemma is now an Affiliate Member of CILEX.
