Thatcher & Hallam LLP continue to grow their Wills, Probate and Tax Planning team with the announcement of the recent promotion of Michelle Jorden to the role of Paralegal.

Michelle joined the team in March 2012 as an experienced Legal Secretary from a leading Bath firm.  She now takes her new role as paralegal in the busy Probate team, alongside Partners Ken Saunders and George Persson and Solicitor Leanne Gover.

One of Michelle’s principal responsibilities in her new role will be administering the Sperring Charitable Trust, which provides widespread benefits to the local community.  Michelle will be the first point of contact for existing clients using the charity and also for those wishing to make an application for consideration under the scheme.

“Michelle will provide a fundamental link for those requiring charitable assistance within our local community” explains George Persson, “It is important to have an experienced person who is able to meet the many clients and ensure the smooth running of this esteemed charitable Trust.  The role of administrator is crucial to the connection between Thatcher & Hallam and our valued clients”.

“It is a great honour to be promoted in such a long-established and reputable local firm” says Michelle, “Thatcher and Hallam play such an important role in the local area and I am proud to take up my new role as administrator of this worthy charity”.

In addition, Michelle will provide assistance in her role as paralegal to the busy department, which continues to grow to meet client demands.
