Location
We are located in the picturesque market town of Midsomer Norton, 20 minutes drive outside Bath. We service the community in a number of areas including high wealth families that we have advised for generations and quality lead generation from Bath and surrounding villages.

Thatcher + Hallam is the perfect setting in which to gain experience in multiple areas of practice with accredited and experienced Lawyers and Solicitors on a 1-2-1 basis. We strive for inclusivity regardless of your route into law.
We have a 100% retention rate of trainees who have qualified with us in the last 3 years and value both Solicitors and CILEx members alike with the ratio of trainees qualifying through the Solicitor route and CILEx Lawyer route being a ratio of 1:1.
How we select our future Trainee Lawyers
- Stage 1: After you have completed the application form and provided us with a copy of your CV. The managing partners will undertake a review and screen your application against our core criteria for suitability for the TLP.
- Stage 2: If you have passed Stage 1 you will be invited for an interview which may be with one, two or three senior staff. The interview takes the form of an informal chat to gauge your aspirations and experience to date.
- Stage 3: At stage 3 you will be informed whether you have been successful or unsuccessful in your application.
