COVID-19 update January 2022
27th Jan 2022Our latest COVID update
This is our latest COVID (coronavirus) update explaining how Thatcher + Hallam will continue to provide services, as we enter the next phase of coronavirus restrictions being lifted.
Government restrictions have been lifted today, 27th January 2022. We are continuing to take steps to protect our clients and staff from coronavirus. The safety of our local community, staff and clients remains a priority.
Please note the following:
- Our staff will continue to wear masks when passing through our buildings.
- We ask that clients only attend our office to collect or deliver documents where necessary.
- We ask that clients continue to wear a mask when meeting with our team or dropping documents at reception, unless you are exempt.
- We will continue to meet with clients but on essential matters only and strictly by prior arrangement.
- Where face to face meetings are not possible, we can meet with you by whatever other means suits you best, for example via Zoom, Skype or Facetime or on the telephone.
- Our screens will remain in place in our meeting rooms and hand sanitiser will be available. We will maintain enough time between face to face appointments to ensure our meeting rooms can be thoroughly cleaned.
- Please do not attend the office in person, for any reason, if you have tested positive / have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive / had symptoms of coronavirus.

Meetings with clients
We remain committed to meeting with our clients. However, these meetings now take place ‘remotely’, rather than face to face, where possible. Clients remain able to contact their solicitor directly. You can see contact details of the team here.
