A local to the area, Lucy worked in law firms in Bristol and Somerset before moving to a leading Wiltshire solicitors’ practice shortly following qualification.
Lucy has worked for sole traders, small businesses and large national corporate entities, providing her clients with practical and commercially minded advice in connection with their ownership and occupation of commercial property. Lucy deals with the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties, secured lending and landlord and tenant work. Lucy’s experience also extends to dealing with the property element of both asset and share sales and purchases.
When dealing with Lucy, clients will also have the benefit of dealing with someone who not only has detailed local knowledge, but also has a keen understanding of what modern business demands of their legal advisors.
Qualifications: Lucy gained a First Class Honours LLB Law at the University of the West of England in 2010, before progressing to her LPC (also at UWE) in 2011 which she passed with a Distinction. Lucy qualified as a solicitor in June 2016 before joining the Commercial Property + Business team at Thatcher + Hallam in February 2019.
