Chris is a highly skilled and experienced commercial property lawyer. Since qualification as a solicitor he has worked at leading law practices in Bath and elsewhere in the South West. For several years he was also an in-house lawyer at the Nationwide Building Society.
Chris works in all areas of commercial property law, including drafting and advising upon commercial leases, freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals as well as licences and assignments. He also advises on agricultural and Licensing Act matters.
The particular specialism of Chris is commercial property litigation, where he assists both landlord and tenant on all contentious commercial property matters.
Qualifications: Chris obtained a BA Degree at the University of the West of England (UWE) where he read English and History, before completing his professional qualifications, also at UWE. Chris was admitted as a solicitor in 1987, joining Thatcher + Hallam at the beginning of 2017.
